All Weather Biothane® Dog Lead by Storeys & Tails
We walk dogs for a living, so we know what a lead goes through: wet fields, beach runs, dips in the estuary and the odd unfortunate roll in something best not mentioned. These leads are made for exactly that. Each one is handmade in Devon by Storeys & Tails, a small studio we love, from genuine Biothane® with solid brass fittings. They're waterproof, wipe clean in seconds and still look smart for the school run.
Why we love it
Built for British weather. Biothane® doesn't soak up water, so it won't turn heavy, soggy or smelly after a rainy walk or a swim.
Cleans up in moments. Mud, sand, salt water or worse: rinse it under the tap or give it a wipe and it's ready for the next walk. Unlike fabric or webbing, it doesn't hold onto dirt or odours.
Tough but soft in the hand. A strong webbing core sits inside a protective coating, so the lead stays flexible and comfortable while standing up to daily use.
Easy to grip, even when wet. The smooth, slightly grippy finish feels secure in your hand whatever the weather's doing.
Solid brass hardware. The brass trigger hook is strong and built to last, and it'll gently age and gain character over time.
Handmade in Devon. Every lead is individually crafted and finished with the Storeys & Tails embossed mark.

1.5cm wide (approx. 1.2m long): for smaller dogs. It has a lighter brass hook, and the extra length means less bending down to reach little legs while keeping you in control.
2cm wide (approx. 1m long): for medium to XL dogs. It has a sturdier brass hook and a length that gives a secure, comfortable hold.
